Ards Football Club, which was relegated to the IFA Championship in 2006, is at the centre of more money issues.
The club was given until Friday to pay out £15,000 to a former director.
Ards Chairman Brian Adams has told UTV that they will have it paid.
"After long term waiting we got the issue settled in the high court a few weeks ago," said Mr Adams.
"Ards have agreed to pay out a settlement to a previous director which will cost £15,000.
"We had a meeting on Monday night where the support was evident.
"I would like to thank the fans and MLAs who have lent their support."
Ards FC were forced to sell their Castlereagh Park home in 1998 to try and reduce their debts.
The stadium was demolished in 2002.
The club has shared grounds with Cliftonville, Carrick Rangers, Bangor and Ballyclare Comrades
Mr Adams said plans for their new pitch in Newtownards are still on course to open in 2011.
