Robertson won four straight frames on Monday to progress into the quarter finals.

Allen was still in the equation after finishing 9-7 behind on Sunday, but breaks of 59, 69, 94 and 92 saw the Australian go forward in style to face either Judd Trump or Ryan Day.

Robertson was unable to complete his bid to become the first player to score 100 centuries in a season despite coming close in the penultimate frame, when he missed the black off its spot.
