Trouble at parade
Two youths have been arrested in connection with public order offences after trouble erupted at the Tour of the North parade.

Missiles were thrown near Ardoyne shops and in Brompton Park during the loyalist march in north Belfast on Friday night.

One bandsman needed hospital treatment for head injuries after being struck by a missile.

The pair, aged 14 and 17, have since been released.

Father Gary Donegan from Holy Cross Parish was also verbally and physically assaulted by a youth as he tried to stop him throwing stones at police.

Months of preparation with community workers had gone into ensuring the Ligoniel True Blues lodge feeder parade did not flare into major violence.
