The woman was driving a black Vauxhall Zafira in the Brians Well Road area on Saturday just after 6.30pm.

Three males, whose faces were covered with scarves, approached her when she slowed her vehicle and one man demanded she get out of the car.

It is believed he may have been armed with a knife.

The three escaped in the car which was later found on fire in the Summerhill Road area.

The woman was not injured in the incident but was left badly shaken.

Anyone who may have seen the car in the area or who knows anything about this incident is asked to contact CID at Lisburn Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 or speak anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
