Woman is stabbed multiple times

A man has been arrested after a woman suffered multiple stab wounds in an attack at her north Belfast home.
Police said the woman is understood to be 'stable' in hospital. (© UTV)
The 26-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment on her injuries and is now understood to be in a stable condition.
Police said the attack happened at around 7am on Tuesday in the Glenrosa Link area of the city when a man went into the woman's house and stabbed her a number of times.
A 20-year-old man was later detained in connection with the incident.
He is currently being questioned, and anyone with any information has been asked to contact CID in Antrim Road Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
