Woman injured in railway station fall

A woman has been hit by a train at a railway station close to Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, it is understood.

She fell from the track and hit the train as it was coming to a halt at Clipperstown shortly after 1.30pm on Thursday.
An ambulance service spokesman said when crews arrived at the scene the woman was partially under the train.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Translink has said a full investigation into the incident is underway.
The Larne line was closed between Central Station and Whitehead but has since reopened.
