A woman has been seriously injured after being beaten with baseball bats by a masked gang at her home in Newtownards.
Four men wearing balaclavas forced their way into the property in the Blenham drive area of the town before 11pm on Thursday and attacked the 29-year-old victim.
They then ransacked the property and smashed a window before fleeing.
A man who was in the property at the time of the incident escaped injury.
Detectives are investigating a motive for the attack and are appealing for information.
