Woman held over city murder bid

A 22-year-old man is seriously ill after he was stabbed in the back in north Belfast on Sunday morning.

The incident happened shortly after 9am in the Havana Court area of the city.

The man was taken to hospital where his injury is described as serious but not life-threatening.

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact Tennent Street police station.
