A 52-year-old woman has died in hospital following a crash in a Castledawson, Co Londonderry.

The one-vehicle collision involved a silver Renault Clio, which left the Curran Road shortly after 8am on Tuesday.

The road has been closed to traffic.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
