A 21-year-old woman has died in hospital following a car crash in Portadown, Co Armagh.

Katherine Kelley, from the Portadown area, succumbed to her injuries after the accident, which happened on the Armagh Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man remain in hospital, a PSNI spokeswoman said.

Five young people aged 18 to 21 were hurt in the crash, which involved one vehicle.

Police said the victims included two women and three men.

They have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
