Sean McParland, 55, was shot while he was babysitting at Skegoniel Avenue in February 1994 and died a week later.

The woman, 45, was arrested in the Newtownabbey area on Tuesday morning by detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch.

She was later released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The arrest is part of Operation Stafford, an investigation into a series of murders and other serious crimes by the UVF in north Belfast.
