Woman released over PSNI murder bid

A woman has been released as part of the investigation into the attempted murder of police officers in a gun attack in north Belfast.

Ten shots from a military grade Kalashnikov hit two police cars which were towing digital signs through a residential area at the Ardoyne interface on Thursday, 5 December.
No police were hurt and dissident republicans had been blamed.
A 62-year-old woman was detained in north Belfast on Tuesday morning and released later that day pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
