The victim, aged in her 20s, was approached at William Street in the early hours of Monday 30 June by a man who then began talking to her.

Police were told that as she moved away, the man grabbed her and also indecently assaulted her.

The woman managed to escape and left in a friend's car.

The man is described as being in his mid-20s, with dark hair and of thin build.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
