It is not known if the €15m jackpot has been claimed, or where the lucky winner bought the ticket, following the draw in Paris.

The winning numbers were 16, 18, 26, 38 and 44 and the Lucky Stars were eight and 10.

Ireland's biggest ever EuroMillions win was in 2005 when Limerick woman Dolores McNamara claimed a €115m windfall.
