The gang entered a house in the Moor Park area shortly before 8.50pm and assaulted the three male occupants of the house before making off with a television, a mobile phone and a games console.

The victims of the attack had to be treated in hospital for their injuries, but their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

The three men responsible for the burglary are all described as being in their late 20s or early 30s.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact CID at Grosvenor Road or to pass information anonymously through Crimestoppers.
