A west Belfast man has been remanded in custody accused of raping a teenage girl.
The 36-year-old suspect, who cannot be named to protect the alleged victim's identity, faces four separate charges.
As well as rape, he is accused of sexually assaulting the girl and abusing a position of trust to incite a child aged under 18 to engage in sexual activity.
The fourth charge relates to claims that he intentionally made her look at a sexual act with a view to obtaining gratification from it.
Belfast Magistrates Court heard all four counts were allegedly committed on Sunday.
The accused was arrested by detectives from the PSNI's Child Abuse Unit.
He appeared in the dock with two black eyes and cuts to his face while a detective constable told the court he could connect the accused to each of the offences.
With no application for bail, he was remanded in custody to appear again next month.
