Water supply restored after mains burst

NI Water customers in Newtownabbey who experienced disruption to their water supply on Friday morning after a "significant burst" in the mains supply have now been reconnected.

The burst mainly affected the Ballyearl Estate area, but it has since been isolated.

A NI Water spokesperson said that all customers should now be back on supply with just a few customers on higher ground experiencing reduced pressure.
