WW2 shell found in Portrush

A controlled explosion has been carried out on a device recovered by a fishing boat crew in Portrush, Co Antrim on Monday afternoon.

Police and army bomb experts attended the scene at Harbour Road and after examination, the object was declared a World War II shell.
