A PSNI statement released on Sunday said that a suspicious device had been reported in the Newell Road area.

"Checks have been carried out and nothing untoward was found," it said.

"Police would strongly advise that if anyone notices any suspicious object that they leave it alone and do not pick it up."

The PSNI say anything found should be reported to them as soon as possible on 0845 600 8000.
