Police say the burglar entered Soaks Bathrooms on the Apollo Road after 9pm on Monday.

It is understood police were alerted that the premises of the showroom had been forcibly entered into by an alarm.

When they arrived at the scene shortly after, the burglar had already gone.

"Through CCTV we see the burglar came in and went straight for the two paintings," business director Wayne Lyons told UTV.

He said the paintings, which are worth around £6,000 each, are "very unique".

Police are appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about the robbery to contact them.
