They are Bangor, Belfast City Office, Coleraine, Cookstown, Lisburn (Bow Street), Waterside, Newry, Omagh, Andersonstown and Connswater.

Thousands of customers are still waiting for full access to their accounts after technical glitches hit the RBS Group last month.

The latest statement from Ulster Bank on Monday said that the weekend brought steady progress in the processing of automated payments.

It continued: "However, some items - such as cheques and manual lodgements have yet to be processed and therefore will not be reflected in account balances as yet.

"We expect that this week will be the last week of significant disruption for customers and that services should begin to return to normal from Monday 16th July."

Last week, Ulster Bank's chief executive Jim Brown said he will refuse his annual bonus in a bid to win back the trust of customers.

Mr Brown revealed on Thursday that he will not put his name forward for the extra money, but also refused to respond to calls for his resignation.

"Everyone at Ulster Bank is completely focused on putting things right for our customers. I don't want there to be any doubt that this is also my personal priority," he said in a statement.

The Ulster Bank compensation is no bank charges for the mishandling of customers accounts. The CEO and chairman of the RBS get millions in bonuses + their salary. It's time these bankers realised whose money they are dealing with.

ack sure jim your such a great man refusing your big bonus... i would just like to get to my money never mind a bonus! I think its too little too late with the ulster bank wanting to regainn the trust of customers. my wife has alrady moved to the halifax (who indeed are giving new customers £100 to move to them), and i will also be moving once my account gets finally sorted out. i could have coped with 1-2 weeks of this, but this is really taking the biscuit. goodbye ulster bank, im not the first to leave and ill definately not be the last.
