Two people have been arrested after the armed robbery of a cash in transit van in Belfast on Sunday.

A man carrying a gun threatened a security guard, before making off with a cash box, during the theft on the Ormeau Road.

A 27-year-old woman has been charged with assisting offenders and has been bailed to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

A 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of armed robbery remains in custody.
