Two men have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Dungiven.

The collision happened on Glenshane Road on Saturday afternoon.

Those injured were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry for treatment, a NI Ambulance Service spokesman said.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this stage, but they are believed to be non-life threatening.

The Glenshane Road has been closed at its junctions with Corick Road and Boviel Road junctions.

Diversions are in place.

The road is expected to remain closed until Sunday lunchtime.

There are no further details.
