The body of Eamonn Ferguson, 35 and from the north Belfast area, was found just before 3am at a flat at Ardoyne Place in the city.

Two men aged 26 and 31 have been charged with his murder.

The pair are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday morning.

PSNI Serious Crime Branch detectives detained two men on Saturday as part of the murder inquiry. More time was then granted to question them.

Officers have appealed for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area on Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday morning to get in contact.
