Two charged over village drugs raid

Two men have been charged after a drugs raid in Edenderry
Two men are expected to appear in court on Wednesday morning following the seizure of cannabis plants in a Co Down village.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with possession of class B and C drugs, while a 32-year-old man faces charges of cultivating cannabis and possession of class B drugs with intend to supply.

The drugs were found after a raid of a house in Edenderry on Tuesday 27 July.

The charges are to be reviewed by the PPS.
