Two arrests over Newry van bomb

Two men have been arrested in Belfast city centre in relation to a 500lb van bomb discovered near Newry, Co Down in April.

The bomb was found in a wheelie bin inside a van on an underpass of the A1 Dublin-Belfast Road.

The two men, aged 35 and 36, were arrested on Tuesday afternoon and were taken to Antrim Police Station for questioning.

oh i remember this bomb, isnt this the one the psni were piloting their defuse your own scheme, will we be seeing that unpopular defuse your own in the future again? Maybe these two handed themselfs in, another pilot scheme hand yourself in sheme? I thought with any crime there was a time frame adhered to in order to keep evidence and forensics from being adulterated, dont think these two have much to worry about.
