It was reported that a man was trying to get into a house in Eglantine Avenue on Monday evening when he was confronted by another man.

Both of them were believed to be armed with knives.

One of the men later had to be taken to hospital for facial and body injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have now arrested a 33-year-old and 34-year-old man.

A statement said: "Both men are currently helping police with their enquiries."

Anyone caught carrying knives should get long jail sentences, what is the reason they are carrying them ?People need to be made aware that carrying knives is the same as carrying a gun, both can kill and leave families devastated so lets have long prison terms that maybe will deter these people from carrying them!!
