Staff were threatened at a shop in the Brackaville Road area on Wednesday at 3.35pm by two men - one of whom was armed with a hammer and a crowbar - who stole a sum of cash.
The assailants made off in a black Toyota MR2, which was driven by a third man.
The staff were not injured in the incident.
A short time later, on Dungannon Road, Cookstown, a 22-year-old man was located by police and arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Elsewhere, two men, aged 32 and 40, were arrested on Annahavil Road, Dungannon, after police received a report of an attempt to hijack a passing car. They were detained on suspicion of robbery and attempted hijacking.
All three are due before Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Friday charged over the incidents.
The 40-year-old is also charged with three counts of burglary earlier in the year in Dungannon and Co Armagh.
The PSNI are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the shop robbery, or hijack attempt to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
Investigating officers are also keen to hear from anyone who noticed a black Toyota MR2 - registration number G657 TBD - in the Dungannon area since Friday.
