Traffic warden attacked in Coleraine
A traffic warden has suffered a puncture wound to his back after an assault in Coleraine.

The incident happened in the Stone Row area of the town at around 5pm on Thursday.

The male traffic attendant was near the top of Stone Row when a male ran up behind him and struck him with an object before making off across the car park in the direction of the pedestrian precinct.

The attacker is described as being bald and was wearing a dark hooded coat and light coloured jeans.

The victim said he spoke to three males close to the metal door of the Baptist Church following the incident.

Police have said would like to speak to the three men, as they may be able to help with witness information.
