Two Orange Halls in north Antrim have been targeted by vandals using a tractor to cause damage.

Damage was caused to the door of a Hall on the Bravallen Road in Ballymoney on Saturday evening.

Those responsible also gained access to the building and caused damage to property inside.

Police said they were investigating a possible link with an earlier incident near Rasharkin, where a tractor was used to damage an Orange Hall on the Mullen Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police said the large boundary wall was knocked over and damage was also caused to the front door.

A spokeswoman said: "Police believe there was a larger than usual number of people in the area during the early hours of this morning and officers are keen to speak to anyone who noticed this damage being caused, or any other suspicious activity."
