A number of people have been treated for smoke inhalation after three overnight house fires across Northern Ireland.

Fire crews attended the three different incidents in Twinbrook in west Belfast, Portadown in County Armagh and Coalisland in County Tyrone.

In the first incident in Twinbrook at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening, fire crews were called out to the blaze at Glasvey Court.

It is understood no one was inside the property at the time of the fire.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire.

Later on Sunday night at around 10.30pm a man was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at Derrytresk Road in Coalisland in County Tyrone.

In the third incident on Sunday night at around 11.00pm in Portadown, a man was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a house in Cusheny Road.
