Police have attended the scene in the High Street area of the town with Phoenix Gas and the Fire Service.

A police spokesman said High Street and Church Street have been closed to the public.

Commercial premises in the area have also been evacuated for safety reasons.

"It is believed that three explosions have occurred," the PSNI spokesman said. "It is not believed there are any residential premises affected," he added.

There are no reports of any injuries.
