The first attack happened in Carnmoney area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.
The vehicle was parked near a house in the Queen's Avenue shortly before 12.35am on Sunday.
A police statement said that no one is believed to have been injured in the attack.
Firefighters attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.
In the Ballycraigy area of Antrim, a car was torched shortly after 1:50am.
It happened close to houses at Craighill.
No-one was injured in the attack, and the blaze was extinguished by firefighters.
Meanwhile, in Derry, police are investigating a report of an arson attack on a vehicle in Galliagh.
A red BMW Coupe car was set alight in the Sandale Park area, off the Lenamore Road.
The incident was reported to the PSNI at 7.30am on Sunday.
Firecrews attended the scene, putting out the blaze.
At this stage, PSNI believe the fire was started deliberately.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of the attacks overnight to contact them on the new non-emergency number 101.
