Three arrested over Carroll murder

Two men and a woman are being questioned about the murder of Pc Stephen Carroll in Craigavon.

Pc Carroll, 48, was gunned down as he answered a call-out in Co Armagh town last March.
He was married and lived in Banbridge, Co Down.

The Continuity IRA claimed responsibility for his death.

On Tuesday, detectives from the PSNI's serious crime branch detained a 40-year-old man in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

A man aged 36 and woman aged 37 were arrested in Craigavon. They are being questioned at Antrim serious crime suite.

A teenager and a 38-year-old man have previously been remanded in custody charged with the murder.

Pc Carroll was killed two days after the Real IRA shot dead two soldiers outside Massereene Barracks in Antrim.

Reference "Facts": Your 100% right, where are the FACTS? There is none, they are holding people without TRIAL, innocent til proven GUITY beyond a reasonable DOUBT. If they had EVIDENCE the people already in Custody would have already been through the judicial system and not remanded til further notice. It's obvious for all to see that the evidence they have at the minute is all CIRCUMSTANCIAL and would'nt stand up in any Court in the land. As I stated in my last post, I hope & pray that the murdering scumbags who carried out these cowardly murder's are brought before the Court's.

The PSNI seem to be clutching at straws, they already have two people remanded in Custody for Constable Carroll's murder and I think another two remanded in Custody for the murder's of the two Soldier's, when are these Cases going to be put before the Court's in their entirety? The PSNI keep arresting people periodically and then release them a few days later without charge. Although I hope and Pray that the culprits are brought to book at the minute it just looks like the evidence they've gathered is either circumstancial or non-existent. It's time for Jack Frost or Jessica Fletcher to get to the bottom of this.
