The windows are worth around £500 each, amounting to a total value of up to £35,000.

Police believe 60 or 70 of them were unscrewed and prised from buildings on the Sligo Road.

The windows have been described as cream, slide-open sash windows and would appear as new, with the outer film and purchase stickers still attached.

The crime was reported to the PSNI on 21 February and is thought to have taken place sometime over a week or 10 days. It is not clear if the windows were stolen all at once.

Anyone with further information should call police in Enniskillen on 0845 600 8000.

If the perpetrators had fled down the road with their 'sashes' the parades commission and the PSNI would have been all over them lol.
