The 31-year-old was detained in the Carrickfergus area under the terrorism act on Friday afternoon.

He has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

Police said the arrest relates to disorder in Larne on Sunday 30 March during which a number of homes in the Co Antrim town were damaged and a PSNI officer was injured.
