Teens injured in Derry assault

Two teenage partygoers have been injured during late-night violence in Londonderry.

Monday, 02 November 2009

The pair, dressed in military-style camouflage and face paint, were confronted by a group of assailants at Butcher's Gate at around 10.30pm on Sunday night.

A 17-year-old boy was headbutted and hit over the head with a bottle.

When his friend, aged 16, intervened, he was attacked by a woman with a bottle and another member of the group.
