Two teenage girls have been assaulted in east Belfast.

It was reported to police that they were attacked by a male in the Cameronian Drive area of the city on Wednesday at around 1.50 pm.

Police enquiries are continuing.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information is asked to contact the PSNI.
