A blue Lexus IS200 went off the Victoria Road in the Newbuildings area on Saturday morning shortly before 6am.

A male in his teens was taken to hospital for his injuries. His condition is described as critical.

Two women in their 20s, who were in the car at the time, are also in a serious condition in hospital following the crash.

The Victoria Road has reopened after diversions were in place for much of the day.

Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who was travelling on the Victoria Road around the time of the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station or local police at Foyle on the new non-emergency number 101.
