Teen, 15, charged over Ardoyne riots

A 15-year-old has been charged with rioting and possession of an offensive weapon in Ardoyne on the Twelfth
A 15-year-old boy has been charged in connection with riots in Ardoyne over the Twelfth of July period.

The youth, who was arrested in north Belfast on Tuesday, faces charges of rioting and possession of an offensive weapon.

He is expected to appear at Belfast Youth Court on 27 September.

The charges are to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
