A large fire at a farm in Co Londonderry is being treated as suspicious.
The blaze broke out at outbuildings on the Carrowreagh Road in Garvagh in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Service said it was particularly dangerous to deal with because gas cylinders and diesel were stored in the outbuildings.
Several people living close to the farm had to leave their homes for a number of hours after crews realised the shed was also made of asbestos.
Beverley Galloway, a local resident, had to take her family to stay with relatives.
"We woke up about 4.15am; we heard lots of popping and banging. It sounded like fireworks, we looked out the window and saw a huge blaze," she told UTV.
"About 5.30am, the police came and evacuated the area. We have two small children; one is nearly one and the other is nearly two and a half, so it was a little bit of an upheaval but we just had to lift them and gather things together as quickly as we could," she added.
Residents were allowed to return to their homes at around midday on Saturday.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious and are now investigating the cause the blaze.
