The 21-year-old was arrested in the Dungannon area on suspicion of burglary and fraud by false representation.

He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The arrest follows a report of a theft of a number of cattle in the Tullyroan Road area of Dungannon.

Area Commander Chief Inspector McMinn, said: "Police, working in conjunction with colleagues from the Department of Agriculture, searched premises in the Armagh area and as a result have arrested one person.

"We recognise that agricultural crime is a concern for the community and we will continue to thoroughly investigate each and every incident and I would appeal for anyone with information about those involved in agricultural crime to contact police or the independent charity Crimestoppers."
