Sub zero conditions will affect large parts of the region on Monday morning, with temperatures not reaching above zero degrees Celsius.
There is a risk of frost on the roads and ice where there has been wet or damp patches.
Roads Service has advised that the scheduled road network has been salted but drivers should exercise caution on untreated roads.
The day will be mainly dry with sunny spells, but there will be sleet and snow showers in some areas, mainly along the South Down Coast and across Antrim, with snow accumulating in higher ground.
It will feel very cold in the fresh east-to-northeasterly wind.
