Betty McGirr, 71, and her 38-year-old daughter Deirdre were killed in the flat fire at Dunlea Vale last Saturday.

The blaze, which police believe was started deliberately, broke out shortly before 10pm.

In a fresh appeal made on Wednesday, officers are specifically asking anyone who spoke to either of the women that day to contact the Special Incident Room set up at Dungannon PSNI station on 028 8775 0559.

Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
