Police received a report of a shooting incident in the Cherry Grove area on Tuesday shortly after 11pm.

"No-one was injured in the incident and no damage is believed to have been caused to the house," a police spokesperson said.

A dark coloured Volkswagen Golf was later found on fire in the Slatequarry Road area.

Investigating officers believe the two incidents could be linked.
