A 26-year-old man has been shot at as he left a club in east Belfast.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the shooting to contact them. (© UTV)

The incident happened between 12.30am and 12.45am on Saturday in the Solway Street area near the Newtownards Road.

Approximately two shots were fired in the man's direction.

He received an injury when he fell to the ground.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information is asked to contact PSNI.
