Shots fired at house in Londonderry

Two men and a woman have escaped injury after shots were fired into a house in Derry on Tuesday.

It was reported just after midnight that a shooting had occurred in the Jeffrey Avenue area of Foyle.

A number of shots were fired into a living room window of the house.

Three people who were inside at the time were not harmed.

Two men were seen making off from the scene on a motorcycle.

A motorcycle was found burnt out shortly after in the Lincoln Courts area.

Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen this motorcycle between 12am in Jeffrey Avenue and 12.10am in Lincoln Courts to contact them.
