A teenager who was shot in a paramilitary style attack is believed to be Patrick Crossan who was sentenced over the killing of green grocer Harry Holland.
The 19-year-old was abducted and shot in the legs in west Belfast on Wednesday evening.
The teenager was bundled into a car in the Hillman Street area at around 6.30pm before being driven around and attacked in Carrigart Avenue.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
65-year-old Harry Holland was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver near his home at Norfolk Drive in 2007.
Patrick Crossan from Willowbank Gardens in west Belfast, was sentenced to four years for attempted affray and having an offensive weapon.
Stephen McKee from Ballymurphy Road in west Belfast, was ordered to serve at least 12 years in jail for Mr Holland's murder.
A 17-year-old girl was placed on a probation order for two years after she admitted charges of affray and common assault.
