It happened in the Melmore Gardens area in the early hours of Wednesday.

Neighbours heard a loud bang at around 1am. When police arrived they found the front window broken, strike marks on an inside wall and part of a bullet inside.

No-one was in the house at the time, but a woman, who had recently moved out of the house, told UTV that her family is being intimidated.

Visibly distressed, Carol Lavey said: "I don't know why they are doing it. I need answers, I am sitting back every time my wee ones are getting picked on and I don't know why.

"Come forward and let me know why."

Police are appealing for information.
