Shot fired at Co Armagh house

A family has escaped injury after a shot was fired at a house in Killylea, Co Armagh.

Side patio doors at the property on Cormeen Road were smashed in the incident which occurred at around 4.10am on Sunday morning.

A couple and their adult child were home at the time but were not injured.

A motive has not yet been determined and anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area and noticed any suspicious people or vehicles is asked to contact Ardmore CID on the non-emergency number 101.
